You know I don’t believe in “supermom” except that every mom is a supermom in my book! But I do believe in your superpowers. And I’m talking about my favorite: your intuition!
Intuition has the power to save your child from getting hurt, getting lost, getting into trouble… you name it. And it has brought you to the scene of the crime just in the knick of time!
When you tap this power to save your children (or your furniture) you don’t have much time to think about how does this power work. You just KNOW.
But when the sense of urgency that surrounds your children dissipates and the time to use it on yourself becomes essential, it is easy to get confused on exactly how intuition works.
The question I get most often when working with clients is: “But how do I know if it’s my intuition or something that can get me into trouble?”
Easy. Peasy.
Intuition begins in the center of your body and radiates up and out your body like a sprinkler.
Thoughts that start in your mind and are not generated by the higher part of YOU begin in the head and radiate down.
See easy-peasy.
Need proof? I’m going to ask you two questions and I want you to notice where the answer comes from:
1. What color is your couch?
Unless you have some deep connection with your couch, the answer began in your head and radiated down.
2. Do you love your child?
See! The answer came from the center of your body and radiated up.
How cool is that?!!!!
When your intuition feeds you information, it is TRUTH with a capital T. It is right for you. It is right for your family. Now go out and use this Superpower for good and come back and tell me about your adventure!
