The most interesting thing about you is your contradictions. This is true in life and in your business.
Is there a part of your personality or gifts you are holding back that keep you from fully expressing yourself right now? Please take this as permission to offer your full self to the world.
I say this from experience. For the first few years of my business, I hid the fact that I was intuitive. Even though being able to speak with my client’s guides and their higher and future selves was what helped my clients experience transformation in their business and lives so quickly, I couldn’t figure out where that puzzle piece fit into the big picture of my brand.
I was an ex-corporate banker for goodness sakes. My value was in my traditional business building skills.
And I didn’t even mention my masters in psychology and obsession with making the brain work for us instead of against us. It felt like too many different types of people to show to the world.
But that was years ago and over time I’ve realized that my contradictions are exactly what makes me valuable. Bridging the gap between the needs my clients have to be successful “out there” while staying aligned with who they really are is possible ONLY because I have a deep knowledge of business, understand how the brain works AND can have regular conversations with higher selves, guides, guardians and angels.
In a world where media reduces people to an either/or narrative of right/ wrong (or conservative/ liberal) it’s important that we seek the true richness of life in the truth of both/and even if it seems to contradict what is easy to understand.
I have a friend I adore who is the NICEST person in the world. She is sweet to everyone and would give you anything she has if she thought it would make you happy. Strangers are literally friends she hasn’t met yet. BUT … if you hurt someone she loves she will CUT YOU! She turns into the most protective mama bear you’ve ever met and you do NOT want to be on the other side of her anger.
All her sweet loveliness makes me adore her. The protective, fierce anger she yields on behalf of her loves makes her positively delicious to be around.
If you have been wondering what will make you ridiculously attractive to your ideal client (or your ideal mate for that matter) I promise the answer is held within your contradictions. You are not an either/or… you are a both/and.
As you think about heading into 2019 make those beautiful, amazing contradictions about yourself known far and wide. It will help your business grow.
Yes, I know it’s scary but as a corporate banker-turned-intuitive, I can tell you personally the impact you will make and the fun you will have is so much bigger when you embrace your whole self.
