Tuesday night I had the privilege of presenting to a room full of amazing women entrepreneurs at a fundraiser for Sandy Hook Organization for Prosperity (S.H.O.P). S.H.O.P.’s goal is to support the growth of businesses in the Sandy Hook area.
As I told the women in the room, it’s not just important to the local economy that Sandy Hook thrives – I think we all need more examples of resilience in action. I have greatly admired the fact that this village continues to focus on the future and what is possible.
The Mom Grows A Business Conference is happening in a few short weeks on April 25th. $25 from each conference ticket sold 4/7 – 4/14 will go to S.H.O.P. I’m grateful that the growth of my own business has allowed me to give back in this way. It’s one of the reasons I’m passionate about motivating women to reach for wealth.
Money isn’t what is important. Being able to support the changes you want in the world is. Money allows us to do that in a more powerful way.
