Last week I introduced you to Sarah, a mom with three children, a husband and a home-based business. She was in desperate need of organization and balance.
After a bit of resistance, Sarah agreed to trust her inner guidance system and make a decision that required a huge leap of faith. She hired a babysitter to care for her three-year-old six hours a week. This was in addition to his pre-school time of 9-12 pm each day.
Sarah resisted this change initially because it felt selfish. However, as we explored why she wanted the additional time for herself, she came to understand that it didn’t just serve her. It served the entire family.
Sarah is building a Wellness Coaching business because she is passionate about creating health in fellow moms. She also wants a business that can grow with her family and allow her to be home for her children when they get off the bus.
Sarah came to understand that if she wanted to have a business that created the wealth that allowed her to be home for ALL the children after school, she needed to invest time in her business.
She also realized that the limited amount of time she had to work on her business between dropping her son off at preschool and picking him up left her feeling stressed out. She didn’t want either of them to experience his toddler years that way.
So Sarah took the leap and her story illustrates what happens when you follow your inner guidance:
Things fall into place easily and blessings flow
After our first session, Sarah called a woman who had previously offered to babysit if Sarah ever needed assistance. The woman was thrilled to have the job. She is retired and missed her own grandchildren. (Win/ Win!)
Abundance Manifests
The day after Sarah booked the new babysitter, two potential clients that had been putting off working with Sarah emailed her that they were ready to move forward. These emails came on the VERY NEXT DAY!
Love & Happiness Grows
When Sarah picked up her son at preschool the following day, she reported feeling happier than she could remember. She had not realized how much the stress of not being able to get it all done had affected her interaction with him.
This is really how it works! You do not have to choose between happiness and success. Or between You and Your family. I’ve seen it in my life and the life of my clients. When you take the leap of faith to follow your inner guidance everyone wins. Every time.
